The bolts are all the orginial parts that were on there, nothing fitted is non-standard ive been getting all genuine stuff where it was required, AFAIK any bolts in there were all the original items, not new, as they all came out with no problems at all. I think they were hex headed bolts

the cover plate? The cover plate will stay sticking out until it is torqued up to the flywheel - this is normal.
Or there is only one position the cover will go on - it is keyed - but it definitely pulls the cover hard up against the flywheel.
I think you need to see it - or do it yourself.S2,RS2,S4 WB,RS4,S4 B8,RS6 C5,RS6 C6,R8Comment

Im not able to get hold of anything today anyways, have to wait until tomorrow. Gonna get a new Sachs unit from GSF and use that as comparison at least, if that fits then that will stay in, if not then **** knows LOL.
Are you saying that the clutch disk will only fit in one place or suggesting that might be the problem?Ant

Well its running again, but now its making a dodgy noise in the gearbox, im assuming some kind of bearing noise !!!! Bloody car, thats the first and last time that guy works on my car!!!!!!! :@ :@ :@
Anyone know if its fine to drive until it breaks again? Cant really think how to explain the noise right now, but only does it in 1st / Reverse. cant hear it any other time.Ant
